
Sarah Knight
Dr Sarah Knight is a Consultant Clinical Scientist at the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. She currently leads the Urodynamics Service and the Intrathecal Baclofen Pump Service. In addition to her clinical role, she has worked in clinical research for over 25 years with special interest in restoration of function of bladder and bowel function after spinal cord injury. Much of this work has been in the field of neuromodulation and she is currently involved in looking at the role of spinal cord stimulation in SCI. She is scientific lead for the London Spinal Cord Injury Research Centre, which carries out multidisciplinary clinical research in the priority areas of spinal cord injury research. Much of the research that the LSCIRC carries out is funded by specialist spinal cord injury charities such as Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research.
