Danielle Munford
Danielle is Pathway Lead for the MSc Advanced Professional Practice in Neurological Physiotherapy at University of Plymouth. She completed the MSc with distinction in 2016 with her research focusing on the perceptions of falls amongst stroke service users. Danielle teaches on the BSc and MSc pre-reg Physiotherapy programmes striving to deliver a high standard of evidence based education. Prior to this, she was a research fellow on SUMS (Standing Up in MS) a multi-centre randomised controlled trial to assess the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of a home based self-management standing frame programme for people with progressive multiple sclerosis. Danielle continues to provide neuro physio assessment and treatment in the private sector alongside teaching to maintain clinical expertise and currency. In May 2022 she was nominated for a STARR award for Personal Tutor of the year.
