Dr. Jenny Brooks is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has worked with people with acquired brain injury and neurobehavioural needs in inpatient, residential and community settings for many years. Dr. Brooks is a committee member of Acquired Brain Injury Forum London (ABIL).
Dr. Brooks has spoken at many conferences about the clinical applications of neurobehavioural rehabilitation and has published within the areas of risk assessment and rehabilitation of aggression after brain injury.
Neurobehavioural Rehabilitation In The Community
Typically, neurobehavioural rehabilitation for people with acquired brain injury is delivered within specialist inpatient or residential services. This seminar will examine the evidence base and key components of neurobehavioural rehabilitation and then consider the clinical applications to community settings, illustrated with a case example.
