Person-Centred Neuroscience and the Significance of Emotional Health

07 Jul 2022
Rehabilitation & Diagnostics Theatre

In this session Neil will relate how life with a brain tumour has lead him to realise the significance of a person state of emotional health; how it triggered the change to the P-CNS to become the Person-Centred Neurosciences Society, and the writing of the paper ""What is it like to hear life-altering medical news: Perspectives from health professionals". He hopes to be joined by two colleagues, Graham Stephens, who is a co-director of the Lifestyle Health Foundation, and has a military background, and Chris Freer, who sits on the P-CNS steering committee and lives (well) with the diagnosis of secondary progressive Multiple Sclerosis.
