The landscape of Health and Social Care, as we know, has shifted dramatically in the past few years, with a continuing struggle for domiciliary care providers to provide consistent, quality care, whilst valuing and retaining staff. In conferences we often speak about care agencies and the care teams they provide, but rarely hear their perspective and challenges despite being a vital part of the MDT.
Alicia Francois and Francis Boyce manage the Brain Injury and Neurological Condition's department at SweetTree Home Care services and wish to take the opportunity to explore the current challenges faced by care agencies in this specialized field. They will share their experience and knowledge in how they have continued to provide CQC outstanding care to their clients, engaged their employees to improve retention, and worked closely with the MDT to build a culture of collaboration; all of which has improved client outcomes.
There will be testimonials from clients, feedback from team members and commentaries from professionals in the field that illustrate how innovate and groundbreaking approaches to respond to the current difficulties can have a positive and fulfilling impact on the lives of clients and carers.
