Who we are.

Friedrich Merz cared deeply about helping people. That is why the 24-year-old German chemist founded the Merz company in 1908. Now, more than 110 years later, we at Merz Therapeutics, as part of the Merz Group, are proud of our well-established product that treats severe health conditions such as movement disorders & neurological conditions.  It is our ambition to really make a difference for patients and healthcare providers. Therefore, in the tradition of our founder, when we develop new products, technologies or services, we always first ask ourselves the question “What is needed?”.

Merz Therapeutics is part of the Merz Group, a privately held, family-owned company that has dedicated more than 110 years to developing innovations that meet patient and customer needs.
