The UK’s first brain injury rehabilitation program led by traditional interdisciplinary clinical therapies, combining cognitive and physical activity in the outdoors with functional rehabilitation.
Calvert Reconnections provides a residential neuro-rehabilitation centre for people with post-acute, acquired brain injury, led by traditional clinical therapies with rehabilitation through the specialist use of outdoor activities and functional life skills. Our fully accessible residential facility is based within a beautifully adapted grade ll listed building in Keswick, the heart of the Lake District.
Specialising in Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation, our residential programme focuses on an individual’s interests and builds a programme of activities and therapy into an engaging and interactive rehabilitation schedule. Activities such as canoeing, climbing, cycling, work placements, independent living skills and cooking can all be woven into a participants programme whist staying with us here in the Lake District.
