Supporting Survivors of Acquired Brain Injury

This seminar discusses ways to address the cognitive, emotional and psychosocial problems faced by people who have survived a non progressive brain injury. We consider ways to reduce their difficulties to help them learn more efficiently and compensate for their problems. We also consider new approaches to reducing emotional consequences of brain injury. The final issue addressed is how to adjust the environment to improve functioning.
