Dr Himanshu Tyagi trained at St Mary''s and National OCD/BDD Service at Springfield University Hospital before joining UCL Institute of Neurology in 2012, where he coordinated MRC funded randomised controlled trial of Deep Brain Stimulation in severe and treatment refractory Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). He is currently working as a consultant neuropsychiatrist at National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), Queen Square where he advises on inpatient neurorehabilitation and runs a specialist Tourette-OCD clinic for adults. He is also a co-founder and vice chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists network for Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders (OCARD).
