What every neurologist needs to know about optical coherence tomography

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) measures are helping in the diagnosis and management of neuro- ophthalmic conditions such as papilloedema, optic neuritis and neuromyelitis optica. OCT measurements can predict prognosis in compressive optic neuropathies, are used as outcome measures in multiple sclerosis, and many prove to be a useful biomarker in neurodegenerative diseases. This seminar will cover the basics and present an up-to-date review of the key areas in OCT that straddle neurology, neurosurgery and ophthalmology.

Dr. Susan Mollan will be speaking in the following theatre:

Theatre 6 - Tuesday 12.30 - 13.00: What every neurologist needs to know about optical coherence tomography
