Groundbreaking Product Launches at the European Neuro Convention 2017

The European Neuro Convention is less than a month away!                

Previously known as the Neuro Rehab Expo, it has expanded into a new comprehensive event, with three key areas of focus, rehabilitation, diagnostic and surgical. The convention provides unique opportunities to try out and test innovative solutions and services, as well as showcasing the latest technology for diagnosing, performing surgery on and rehabilitating neurological conditions. It is set to be Europe's largest trade show for Brain and Spine experts. Hear from Mr Nick Thomas, considered one of the world's best brain surgeons who performed brain surgery live on Channel 4, will be presenting on Endoscopic Endonasal Approaches to the Skull Base Surgery and Future Advances in this technique. Dr Jeremy Isaacs, Consultant Neurologist and Dementia Clinical Lead at St George's Hospital, will be presenting the Diagnosis of young onset Dementia. He is co-authoring the chapter on Memory Disorders and Dementia for the forthcoming Oxford Textbook of Neuropsychiatry.

Plymouth University’s leading staff, professors and researchers will be at the show, delivering their insight and knowledge on a variety of issues in neurological illness and rehabilitation, in Workshop Sessions over the two days. There will also be masterclasses from DM orthotics, presenting how Dynamic Elastomeric Fabric Orthoses (DEFOs) could be used in your clinical practice to improve outcome measures for your neurological clients. In this video, you can see a program that allows a T10 complete paraplegic to sit to stand, then walk only aided by electro stimulation and then sit down.
